"Everything Clara could see was made of sugar. There were trees laden with sweets, and a gleaming palace built out of jelly beans with a shiny white roof made of sugar icing. The tool is designed to crack open all sorts of nuts, and usually resembles a pair of pliers. Unlike pliers, the pivot point is located at the end beyond the nut, rather than in the middle.
